Our web applications (such as the AI Bible Memorization App, AI Bible Study Tool, and Prayer Request Wall) require separate user accounts from your main Website account. These application accounts are created and managed independently, though they may be accessed through our Website via embedded interfaces.

Data stored in your application accounts (such as prayer requests, Bible study notes, or memorization progress) is managed separately and is subject to our Privacy Policy.

4. Services Offered

Ascent with Christ offers a variety of services, including:

Free biblical teaching content (blog posts, articles, videos, audio teachings)
Digital products for purchase (ebooks, study guides, downloadable resources)
Physical products via print-on-demand (books, journals, teaching materials)
Subscription services (monthly and annual subscriptions for premium content)

We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue any of our Services at any time, with or without notice, except where doing so would violate your existing rights as a paying customer.

5. Pricing, Payments, and Subscriptions

5.1 Pricing and Price Changes

All prices for products and services are displayed on our Website and are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to modify our pricing for:

New purchases: Price changes apply immediately to new orders
Active subscriptions: Price changes will take effect at your next renewal date, not during your current subscription period

If we increase the price of your subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days before your next renewal date. You will have the option to:

Accept the new price and continue your subscription
Cancel your subscription before the renewal date to avoid the price increase

5.2 Payment Processing

We use Stripe as our payment processor for all transactions. By making a purchase, you agree to provide accurate and complete payment information. Stripe collects and processes your payment card information securely, and we do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

5.3 Subscription Services

Our subscription services (monthly or annual) provide ongoing access to premium content and features. By subscribing, you agree that:

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date
You will be charged the then-current subscription price at each renewal
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at info@ascentwithchrist.org

5.4 Subscription Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
You will not be charged for the next billing period
No refunds will be issued for the unused portion of your current subscription period
You will lose access to subscription-only content and features after your subscription expires

5.5 Failed Payments

If your automatic subscription payment fails (due to expired card, insufficient funds, or other reasons):

We will send you an email notification immediately
We will attempt to process your payment again after 3 days
If the second attempt fails, we will try again after 7 days from the first attempt
If all 3 payment attempts fail, your subscription will be suspended and you will lose access to subscription-only content

You can update your payment information at any time through your account settings to prevent service interruption.

6. Refund and Return Policy

6.1 Digital Products (Ebooks, Downloads)

All sales of digital products are final. Once a digital product has been downloaded or accessed, no refunds will be issued. This policy is necessary to protect the intellectual property of our ministry and prevent unauthorized distribution.

If you experience technical issues preventing you from accessing your purchased digital product, please contact us at info@ascentwithchrist.org and we will work to resolve the issue.

6.2 Physical Products (Print-on-Demand)

For physical products (books, journals, printed materials), we offer refunds or exchanges only if the product is defective or damaged upon arrival. To qualify for a refund or exchange:

You must notify us within 7 to 14 days of receiving the product
You must provide photographic evidence of the defect or damage
The product must not have been used or altered

If your refund or exchange request is approved:

You are responsible for return shipping costs
We will either send you a replacement product or issue a full refund to your original payment method
Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after we receive the returned product

We do not offer refunds for products that are simply unwanted or for buyer’s remorse.

6.3 Subscription Services

We do not offer refunds for subscription fees. Once you are charged for a subscription period (monthly or annual), that payment is non-refundable. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.

7. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

By using our Services, you agree to conduct yourself in a manner that is respectful, lawful, and consistent with biblical values. You agree not to:

7.2 Prohibited Activities

7.3 Enforcement and Consequences

If you violate any of these prohibited conduct rules, we will take appropriate action based on the severity and frequency of the violation:

First Offense: We will send you a written warning via email explaining the violation and requesting that you cease the prohibited conduct.
Second Offense: Your account will be temporarily suspended for a period of 7 to 30 days, depending on the severity of the violation.
Third Offense or Severe Violations: Your account will be permanently terminated, and you will be prohibited from creating new accounts or accessing our Services.

In cases of severe violations (such as illegal activity, threats of violence, or egregious harassment), we reserve the right to immediately and permanently terminate your account without prior warning.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Our Content and Materials

All content on our Website and Apps, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, software, and teachings, is the property of Ascent with Christ or our licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

Access and view our content for personal, non-commercial, spiritual growth purposes
Download digital products you have purchased for your personal use only
Print copies of our articles or teachings for personal study or small group discussion (not for resale or public distribution)

You may not:

Copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, or sell any of our content without our written permission
Create derivative works based on our content
Use our content for commercial purposes
Remove or alter any copyright notices, trademarks, or other proprietary markings from our content

8.2 User-Generated Content

When you post comments, testimonies, prayer requests, or other content on our Website or Apps, you retain ownership of your content. However, by posting content, you grant Ascent with Christ a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

Moderate, edit, or remove your content if it violates these Terms

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post any content you submit, and that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.

8.3 Third-Party Content and Trademarks

Our Website uses the BibleLink Multilingual plugin to display Bible verses and translations. We use BibleLink under their Non-Commercial License, which allows us to display Bible translations free of charge for ministry purposes. We do not alter, modify, or claim ownership of any Bible translations displayed through this plugin.

All Bible translations displayed on our Website are the intellectual property of their respective copyright holders (Bible societies and publishers) and are used under appropriate licenses.

8.4 Unauthorized Use and Legal Action

If you purchase our digital products and redistribute them without authorization, or if you copy our teachings to create your own commercial courses or products, you are committing intellectual property theft. We take the protection of our content seriously.

If we discover unauthorized use of our content:

We will first contact you directly to request that you cease the unauthorized use and remove the infringing content
If you refuse to cooperate or continue the unauthorized use, we reserve the right to pursue legal action, including seeking damages and injunctive relief

If our Services are unavailable for more than 3 consecutive days due to technical issues within our control, we will provide a pro-rated refund or credit for subscription services affected by the outage.

10. Account Termination and Data Retention

10.1 Voluntary Account Closure

Active Subscriptions: If you have an active subscription at the time of account closure, your subscription will continue until the end of your current billing period (no refund will be issued), and then it will automatically terminate.
Purchased Digital Products: You will lose access to any digital products you purchased through your account. However, if you need to access a previously purchased product, you may contact us at info@ascentwithchrist.org and provide proof of purchase, and we will make reasonable efforts to restore access.
Personal Data: Your profile information, comments, and personal notes will be deleted immediately upon account closure. However, we are legally required to retain certain transaction and billing records for up to 10 years for tax and accounting purposes.

10.2 Termination by Ascent with Christ

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any of the following reasons:

Repeated violations of these Terms (as outlined in Section 7.3)
Use of fraudulent information or fraudulent payment methods
Account inactivity for more than 12 consecutive months

Before terminating your account for inactivity, we will send you multiple email warnings:

First warning: 30 days before termination
Second warning: 14 days before termination
Final warning: 7 days before termination

If you do not respond to any of these warnings or log in to your account, your account will be permanently deleted.

In cases of severe violations (such as illegal activity or egregious misconduct), we may terminate your account immediately without prior warning.

We process payments through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor, and we do not store your full credit card information on our servers

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

We are committed to resolving any disputes in a spirit of grace, humility, and reconciliation, in accordance with biblical principles (Matthew 18:15-17). If we are unable to resolve the dispute through direct communication, and legal action becomes necessary, you agree that:

You waive any objection to the venue of such courts
