ABOUT US
Christ‑Centered Foundations for Lasting Impact
Ascent with Christ is a Christ‑centered ministry that exists to help believers grow into spiritual maturity through a deeper revelation of Jesus Christ in all of Scripture. We are a community of sons and daughters of God who have surrendered our lives to Jesus and follow Him as disciples, seeking to live under His lordship in every area of life. Our identity is rooted in the finished work of the cross and the power of the resurrection; we believe that everything the Father has planned, He has fulfilled and made available to us in His Son. We devote ourselves to the careful study, teaching, and meditation of the Word of God, trusting the Holy Spirit to illuminate Christ from Genesis to Revelation.
Within Ascent with Christ, our primary focus is the inner life of the believer: the heart, the mind, and the character being shaped into the likeness of Christ. We emphasize transformation from the inside out rather than mere outward forms of religion. By creating teachings, resources, and environments that keep Jesus at the center, we invite believers to behold Him and be changed by the Spirit, in harmony with 2 Corinthians 3:18. We encourage a lifestyle of surrender, obedience, and intimacy with God, where believers learn to hear His voice, walk by faith, and live in step with the Spirit.
As a ministry, we carry a pastoral and teaching grace that seeks to strengthen the Church across nations and denominations. We serve individuals, churches, and leaders who desire to go beyond superficial Christianity and instead build their lives on solid biblical foundations. Our approach is marked by clarity in doctrine, reverence for Scripture, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. We desire to see believers become rooted and grounded in love, strengthened with power in their inner being so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith, echoing Ephesians 3:16–17.
The name “Ascent with Christ” reflects our conviction that the Christian life is a continual upward journey with Jesus — from darkness to light, from immaturity to maturity, from self‑reliance to total dependence on God. We believe that in Christ we have been raised and seated in heavenly places, and we are learning to live from that reality day by day, in alignment with Ephesians 2:6. Our ministry exists to walk alongside believers on this journey: teaching them who they are in Christ, encouraging them in seasons of trial, and pointing them always back to the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).
Our Mission
Our mission is to communicate the message of Jesus Christ with clarity and depth through teaching and discipleship, using media and technology as key tools for spiritual growth. We are committed to presenting the Gospel in a way that not only introduces people to Christ, but also guides them into a strong, ongoing walk with Him. By producing sound, Bible‑based content, we aim to help believers understand the redemptive work of Christ, embrace their new identity in Him, and live out their faith in everyday life. Our mission is to serve the Body of Christ globally by providing accessible, doctrinally solid resources that nourish believers and stimulate long‑term spiritual growth.
A central dimension of our mission is to help believers discover Christ throughout the whole Bible — in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, the Psalms, the Gospels, and the Epistles. Many Christians read Scripture without seeing how every part points to Jesus; we work to bridge this gap by offering teachings, studies, and materials that highlight the unified, Christ‑centered message of the Word. We take inspiration from Luke 24:27, where Jesus opened the Scriptures to His disciples and showed them that Moses and all the Prophets were speaking about Him. Our mission is to replicate this experience for believers today, so that their hearts burn within them as they see Christ revealed in the Scriptures.
We intentionally harness contemporary media as a discipleship tool: blogs, online magazines, digital audio and video, social platforms, and mobile applications. The goal is not merely to “be present” online, but to cultivate spaces where believers can consistently receive teaching, ask questions, and be challenged to grow. We create series, courses, and thematic content that address foundational truths as well as deeper doctrinal topics, helping believers move from spiritual infancy toward maturity. Through this, we seek to equip the saints for the work of ministry so that the Body of Christ may be built up, in alignment with Ephesians 4:11–13.
In pursuing our mission, we emphasize the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the life of each believer. We encourage a posture of openness to His leading, His gifts, and His sanctifying power, so that believers do not simply accumulate knowledge but experience genuine transformation. Our mission is to see the Word and the Spirit working together: the Word providing the foundation of truth, and the Spirit bringing that truth to life within hearts. As believers abide in Christ and His words abide in them, they will bear much fruit to the glory of the Father, as Jesus teaches in John 15:5–8.
Our Vision
Our vision is to see a new generation of disciples of Jesus Christ rising from some of the least reached and least noticed places on earth, especially across Africa and Asia. Looking ahead, we see vibrant communities of believers flourishing in villages, towns, and major cities where the Gospel has been distant, distorted, or almost absent. We envision local churches led by indigenous men and women who know the Scriptures, love Jesus passionately, and serve their communities with humility and spiritual authority. As this vision unfolds, we expect the testimony of Christ to spread organically from family to family, village to village, and region to region, reflecting the promise that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).
In the coming years, we aim to establish a multiplying movement of trained missionaries and disciple‑makers who can be sent strategically into unreached and under‑reached areas. These men and women will be equipped not only with solid biblical understanding but also with practical skills for cross‑cultural ministry, community engagement, and digital evangelism. Our vision is to see networks of small groups and house churches emerge where traditional church structures are difficult or impossible, so that every believer can grow, serve, and make other disciples. We look forward to partnering with local churches and ministries to provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and leadership development, following the pattern of Paul’s instruction to entrust the Gospel to faithful people who will be able to teach others also (2 Timothy 2:2).
We also look ahead to a future where innovative media and technology are fully harnessed to support long‑term transformation rather than only short‑term inspiration. Our vision includes developing digital platforms, learning hubs, and resource libraries in multiple languages that can be accessed even in remote or restricted regions through mobile devices and low‑bandwidth solutions. We intend to build systems for follow‑up and long‑distance discipleship, so that those who encounter the message of Christ through media can be connected to real people, real communities, and real pastoral care. We believe that, as the Word of the Lord runs swiftly and is glorified (2 Thessalonians 3:1), these tools will help nurture believers from initial faith to mature, reproducing disciples.
Financially and organizationally, we envision a ministry that stands on a strong and transparent foundation, capable of sustaining long‑term mission work without being hindered by instability. In the future, we plan to develop income‑generating initiatives, strategic partnerships, and donor communities that share our burden for the unreached and are committed to seeing this vision realized over decades, not just years. Our desire is to steward every resource with integrity and faith, trusting that God is able to make all grace abound so that we always have what is needed for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). Looking forward, we see Ascent with Christ contributing to a larger global story: multitudes from every tribe, language, people, and nation worshiping before the throne and before the Lamb, as portrayed in Revelation 7:9–10, many of them reached because someone carried this vision into their world.
